Services

We were established in 2008 and, today, draw upon a wide array of expertise and knowledge to deliver the following services, which we can provide anywhere in the United Kingdom. Find out more about Bevans Chartered Surveyors team here.

Access Consultancy, Access Audits

We offer access consultancy services through which you can meet obligations set by the Equality Act 2010, which takes account of disabled people’s needs. You can, for example, arrange for an access audit, whereby a building or service’s accessibility for disabled people will be evaluated. We will visit the premises, inspect it, and recommend improvements.

Building Surveys

We can arrange for building surveyors who have Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors qualifications to carry out building surveys on residential and commercial properties. We offer different types of building surveys, including comprehensive surveys; however, the aim will always be to identify issues that a property may have before you make a final decision to purchase it.

Commercial Property Agency

Utilising our expertise on the subject of commercial property, we can provide services in commercial property letting and searches, lease negotiation, development appraisals, rent reviews, and advising about acquisition and exit strategy. If you are an investor, we can help you to dispose of assets, review your portfolio, and revise your investment strategy.

Expert Witness & Construction Dispute Advice

For a construction-related dispute in court, we can provide an expert witness. This is someone who will know more about property, building construction, disabled access, and construction dispute values than what a layman would be expected to know. This witness can assist a court in understanding a case’s issues and reaching a just decision.

Landlord & Tenant. Dilapidations

We are capable of helping both landlords and tenants to deal with issues arising from dilapidations. Our services here include, for landlords, preparing interim and terminal schedules of dilapidation – while, for tenants, we can respond to such schedules that landlords have served. We can also negotiate claims between landlords’ and tenants’ surveyors.

Party Wall Surveyors

The Party Wall etc Act 1996 means that building owners must, if they are proposing particular construction works, let their neighbours know. These owners also need to agree on the manner in which the works should be undertaken. In the process, we can act for the benefit of building owners, neighbours, or both.

Project Management

We can manage your construction project at all stages including the planning, completion, and then handover stages. Our services in this category include preparing budgets and tender documents, providing onsite management, and handling payment certificates. Along the way, we will pay close attention to your project, regardless of its size, to ensure the completion’s high quality.

Quantity Surveying

Our services in this category are intended to minimise a project’s costs while keeping its quality high. Specific examples of these services include preparing contract documents, giving advice about procurement strategy, and conducting an analysis of repair and maintenance costs with a project.
